What you will do
- Manage a team of 10 Commercial Territory Managers and split time between team management and customer calls.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market plan for a specific region, working with channel partners to generate new business.
- Lead negotiations for large, complex deals and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Channel, Finance, Legal, R&D, and Marketing to align regional activities and optimize sales performance.
- Drive new product sales and achieve an annual revenue quota for software and services.
- Provide coaching and actionable feedback to the sales team, codifying winning behaviors into repeatable processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Manager-level experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Minimum 6 years' experience selling Security Products: Vulnerability Management, Continuous Monitoring, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Compliance, Encryption, access Management, Authentication, etc.
- 8+ years in a quota-carrying sales role with demonstrated success.
- Experience negotiating large, complex deals with challenging terms and price pressures.
- Proven track record of working with channel and technology partners to build strategic sales campaigns.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods; some travel may be required.
