What you will do

• Lead global project portfolio management, prioritisation, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement R&D project governance frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Support teams with guidance, training, and performance monitoring.
• Align initiatives with strategic goals, ensuring clear decision-making and accountability.
• Monitor project progress for on-time, in-scope, and on-budget delivery.
• Act as a central coordination point across sites, fostering collaboration.

Requirements

• Proven experience in PMO leadership or project management in life sciences R&D.
• Hands-on experience managing cross-functional instrument development projects (software projects highly desirable).
• Strong expertise in governance, risk management, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency with project-management tools and methodologies.
• Formal project-management training (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Ability and enthusiasm to travel regularly to multiple sites.
