Account Executive (AI, SLED): Selling AI-first hybrid observability platform solutions to CxO buyers in State & Local Government and Education markets with an accent on consultative sales, channel strategy, and public-sector procurement. Location: Remote (US) - must be based in or near the Boston, NYC, or Washington D.C. metropolitan areas.

Salary: $123,000–$150,000 USD

What you will do

  • Build relationships with CTOs, CIOs, IT leaders, and other key SLED stakeholders.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to deliver value-driven IT performance monitoring and SaaS enterprise solutions.
  • Articulate the value of AI-driven observability and automation to SLED organizations.
  • Identify and close opportunities across both short and complex sales cycles.
  • Drive growth by securing new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Leverage AI tools to analyze account data, improve deal strategy, and manage pipeline.
  • Maintain detailed records in Salesforce, tracking customer interactions and risks.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass pipeline and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience selling B2B technology solutions, including significant experience selling into SLED organizations.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technologies, including cloud, SaaS, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Proven success building and sustaining C-level relationships within State & Local Government and Education organizations.
  • Track record of closing net-new business while growing existing accounts.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales methodology preferred.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and automation tools to improve productivity and customer engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Work authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without requiring new or initial employer-sponsored work authorization.
