Location: Fully remote for candidates outside a 50-mile radius of the San Ramon office (US). For candidates within 50 miles of San Ramon, this role is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) in the San Ramon office.

Salary: $135,000 - $250,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead requirement gathering and design of AI-driven conversational solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Facilitate discussions to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for development teams.
• Document solution designs using tools like Lucidchart and Voiceflow.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and analytics, integrating new capabilities into AI solutions.
• Monitor vendor roadmaps and industry trends for innovation and growth opportunities.
• Guide customers to the right solutions, consult on best practices, and advocate for their needs internally.
• Balance multiple priorities across several customers while delivering high-quality conversation designs.

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience as a Conversation Designer or similar.
• Experience in Professional Services or other customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Linguistics, or similar.
