Engineering Manager (Coinbase Card)

Engineering Manager (hirify.global Card): Responsible for the full lifecycle of the hirify.global Card product, from card management to transaction processing, enabling crypto investors to earn rewards and spend crypto globally. Focus on thoughtful technical leadership, architectural decisions, and fostering a culture of high-quality code and effective engineering processes.

Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually.

Salary: $218,025—$256,500 USD

What you will do

• Build and manage full-stack engineering teams, guiding the development of features, services, and infrastructure across web and mobile.
• Coach direct reports to positively impact the organization and support their career growth.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to translate vision into a tangible roadmap.
• Aid in diligent architectural decisions and foster a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes.
• Identify and recruit exceptional engineers who align with hirify.global's culture and contribute to products.
• Contribute to and take ownership of processes that drive engineering quality and meet engineering SLAs.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Experience with Card products and built or worked on such a product at scale.
• Possess a strong understanding of what constitutes high-quality code and effective software engineering processes.
• An execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating through ambiguity and delivering results.
• Experience in creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.
