What you will do

• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineers to prioritize, schedule, and execute projects for new feature development.
• Define and execute the team’s long-term strategy and quarterly roadmap.
• Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Provide technical and non-technical guidance to direct reports.
• Attract, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
• Drive sound technical decision-making and lead technical conversations across hirify.global.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer working on production web applications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing a team of engineers.
• Demonstrable experience prioritizing, crafting, and achieving plans.
• Strong communication skills with ability to grasp and explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical people.
• Solid understanding of core web development technologies, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Hybrid work in the New York City office is required.
