What you will do

• Build, lead, and retain high-performing product engineering teams with strong ownership and accountability.
• Guide system design, architectural decisions, and ensure engineering best practices across code quality and testing.
• Own sprint, quarterly, and roadmap execution for your team(s), improving agile rituals and tracking delivery metrics.
• Partner closely with Product Managers to shape roadmaps and communicate clearly with leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development plans, and hire/onboard new talent.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally full-stack (React/JavaScript/TypeScript).
• 2+ years experience managing and leading engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of modern full-stack systems in production and experience delivering customer-facing products at scale.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with Product and Design.
• Hands-on experience with agile delivery and engineering best practices.
• Ability to make sound technical and people decisions under ambiguity.

Hiring process

• HR Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Lead.
• Case study / Technical Round (~90 minutes live test/case study presentation).
• Final Round (~60 minute soft skills and behavioural interview with the CTO).
• References checks & Offer, including mandatory background screening for a regulated entity.
