TL;DR

Sales Manager (Life Sciences): Building and leading a team of Account Directors to land and grow largest Life Sciences customers with an accent on defining Go-To-Market strategy and driving disciplined pipeline and forecasting practices. Focus on guiding reps through complex, technical, and unstructured opportunities in regulated environments and translating AI capabilities into business value.

Location: San Francisco, and Remote within the US

Salary: $350,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Enterprise Account Directors focused on new business and strategic expansion in Life Sciences.
  • Define and refine the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Life Sciences accounts, including territory design and account prioritization.
  • Establish clear operating rhythms for pipeline and forecast management, ensuring deal quality and revenue impact.
  • Guide representatives through complex, technical, and often unstructured opportunities in regulated environments.
  • Translate AI and API capabilities into business value for Life Sciences executives, partnering through regulatory, compliance, and data considerations.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Technical Success teams to drive qualified pipeline, inform roadmap, and ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, success, or GTM leadership, with significant time leading at scale.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in enterprise segments ($100M+ businesses).
  • Experience leading verticalized sales motions and building go-to-market plays from scratch.
  • Strong operational orientation, comfortable with capacity planning, pipeline rigor, forecasting, and data-driven execution.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, thriving in a dynamic, startup-like environment inside a global company.
  • Public company experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

  • Direct Life Sciences experience, selling into pharma, biotech, medtech, diagnostics, CROs, or research institutions.
  • Existing network of senior Life Sciences executives.
  • Coach-first leadership style, energized by developing team members.
  • Comfortable with technical depth, quickly understanding AI, data, and API concepts.
