TL;DR

Sales Manager (AI): Building and leading a team of Account Directors focused on landing and growing enterprise customers for AI products with an accent on driving disciplined pipeline and forecasting practices. Focus on defining enterprise go-to-market strategy, coaching reps through complex technical sales, and ensuring significant revenue impact.

Location: Onsite in San Francisco or New York City, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

Salary: $302,000–$335,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Enterprise Account Directors.
  • Create a strong coaching culture with frequent deal reviews, ride-alongs, and 1:1s.
  • Define and refine enterprise Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and territory design.
  • Establish clear operating rhythms for pipeline and forecast management.
  • Guide reps through complex, technical, and often unstructured enterprise sales opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Technical Success, and Finance on strategy, roadmap, and commercial terms.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, success, or GTM leadership, with significant time leading at scale.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in enterprise segments ($100M+ businesses).
  • Experience leading verticalized or segment-based sales motions.
  • Strong operational orientation in capacity planning, pipeline rigor, and forecasting.
  • Low-ego, culture-first leader comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

  • Existing network of senior enterprise executives to convene around new AI initiatives.
  • Coach-first leadership style, energized by direct feedback and team development.
  • Experience building or refining GTM motions and codifying operating rhythms.
  • Comfortable with technical depth in AI, data, and API concepts.
  • Energized by big goals, fast hiring, evolving products, and a rapidly changing market.
  • Public company experience strongly preferred.
