Principal Agile Project Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Principal Agile Project Manager (Fintech): Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives in the investment services domain with an accent on Agile delivery excellence and continuous improvement. Focus on strategically partnering with product owners and business leaders to define scope, prioritize features, and align on business objectives.

Location: Must spend at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office in Houston, Texas, or Atlanta, Georgia.

What you will do

• Champion Agile delivery excellence by driving transparency, removing impediments, and ensuring continuous improvement across teams.
• Own end-to-end Agile governance, including Scrum ceremonies and backlog prioritization.
• Partner strategically with Product Owners and business leaders to define scope and prioritize features.
• Lead project planning and execution, setting clear timelines and managing dependencies.
• Facilitate cross-functional technical alignment, resolving architectural and development challenges.
• Drive team performance and accountability, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in leading large-scale technology initiatives within Agile Scrum environments, including remote team coordination.
• Strong understanding of investment operations and financial instruments (Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
• Proven ability to deliver data-driven insights using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced analytics with SQL, Python, and automation platforms (Appian, Blue Prism).
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and modern workflow automation.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels in a global, multicultural environment.
• Highly analytical, self-motivated, and adaptable, with a disciplined approach to time management and continuous learning.
