Staff Product Manager (People Tech/Legal): Leading the strategy and delivery for People technology and Legal systems with an accent on designing compliant and efficient platforms and workflows. Focus on leveraging automation, integrations, and GenAI to transform processes and establish clear product metrics to drive measurable business outcomes.

Location: Livingston, NJ / New York, NY. While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration. Must be a U.S. person or eligible to obtain required export authorization to conform to U.S. Government export regulations.

What you will do

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for People technology platforms (HRIS, Talent, People Ops) and Legal systems.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery, including discovery, requirements, prioritization, and launch.
  • Utilize automation, integrations, and GenAI to transform key HR and Legal processes.
  • Define and own product metrics and drive the roadmap to achieve meaningful business outcomes.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Security, and Finance to embed pragmatic controls, ensuring platform compliance (SOX, SOC 2, privacy).
  • Act as principal product partner for People and Legal leadership, influencing operating models and user experience at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience with significant ownership of complex enterprise platforms in People/HR technology, Talent, or Legal/CLM systems.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional, multi-system product areas (HR, Legal, IT, Security, Finance).
  • Deep familiarity with HRIS, ATS, performance, engagement, learning, compensation, employee data models, and CLM workflows.
  • Strong technical acumen, including data models, APIs, REST, events, and integration patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically, frame ambiguous problems, and ship iteratively.
  • Clear track record of customer obsession with internal users and using qualitative/quantitative insights.
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments where systems and processes evolve rapidly.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex constraints into clear product narratives.
  • Ability to operate at a principal level, setting strategy and influencing leadership.
  • Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to access export-controlled information.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with Workday, Greenhouse, Okta, Ironclad, and Workato.
  • Experience designing or deploying GenAI-augmented internal workflows.
  • Background collaborating with Corporate Legal, Employment Legal, and Compliance on policies and data privacy.
  • Prior experience in cloud, data center, or AI-focused companies.
  • Experience mentoring other product managers.
