What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team, providing disciplinary and technical leadership.
• Mentor engineers and support their development, shaping team structure and growth.
• Actively contribute to system design, critical code paths, and technical problem-solving.
• Own the reliability, security, and performance of services on a globally distributed cloud platform (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Monitor and optimize services and infrastructure, focusing on scalability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data Engineering, and BI teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Several years of experience building and shipping production systems as a software engineer.
• Demonstrated success leading engineers and owning both delivery and team development.
• Comfort staying close to technical details with hands-on experience across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Practical experience with modern web and service technologies like Python, Golang, JavaScript, FastAPI, and Vue.js.
• Experience running distributed systems at scale in production and working in data-driven product teams.
• English: B2+ proficiency for strong collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile technologies such as Flutter or React Native.
• Experience working in consumer products or gaming-related environments.
