What you will do

• Set up and shape a new Back Office team, including hiring and onboarding the first Front-End Engineer.
• Lead technically and strategically, defining and driving architectural decisions from frameworks to system boundaries.
• Regularly write production code, contribute to features, and solve complex technical challenges.
• Deliver robust and maintainable technical solutions with a focus on great user experiences for internal teams.
• Ensure the Back Office platform is extensible by other core platform teams through reusable components and tooling.
• Drive collaboration across Core Platform teams to align APIs, technical interfaces, and architectural consistency.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in building and managing engineering teams, ideally in a cross-functional or platform context.
• Hands-on technical background in modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, Node.js, microservices) and architectural design.
• Strong experience with user-facing tooling or internal platforms, ideally Back Office or admin tools.
• A deep understanding of internal user needs and ability to prioritize challenges for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with QA practices and test automation strategies.
• Passion for mentoring and growing engineers.
