TL;DR

Senior Solutions Engineer (SaaS): Driving the technical win in the sales cycle for a B2B SaaS platform with an accent on aligning with prospect challenges and demonstrating solution value. Focus on tailoring product demonstrations, configuring complex commission plans, and collaborating with product/engineering for new features.

Location: Candidates must reside near Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 days in-office), or remotely from Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, or Toronto, Canada. The position is for candidates across North America.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 a year (OTE)

What you will do

  • Support the Sales team by providing technical proof in sales cycles, including running discovery sessions and leading product demonstrations.
  • Tailor demonstrations and configure demo accounts to convey value to prospective customers, supporting complex commission plans and data structures.
  • Identify opportunities for new platform features and collaborate with Product/Engineering for their development.
  • Build relationships and trust with prospects and customers through industry thought leadership and expertise.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive process improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor team members and share best practices to uplift the entire team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience configuring and selling software, preferably in technology/SaaS.
  • Deep technical aptitude and curiosity, with experience in building Excel models or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Proficiency with popular CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), ERPs (e.g., Netsuite), and/or billing systems (e.g., Zuora).
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in written responses, customer requirements, and RFPs.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify participant).
