What you will do
- Lead in-person sales execution, conducting targeted business visits and closing deals for Square’s products.
- Build strong relationships with local sellers and establish yourself as a Square expert in your assigned city.
- Develop a high-velocity sales pipeline through direct outreach, networking, and partnerships.
- Master key industry verticals (restaurants, retail, services) to position tailored solutions.
- Maintain operational rigor in Salesforce, track activity, and consistently exceed sales quotas.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle closing field sales experience.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
- Ability to independently drive deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in business development, including hunting and cold calling.
- Reliable transportation and must live in the market you are serving.
- Prior Salesforce experience.
Nice to have
- 2+ years in payment processing or related technology (payroll, loyalty, time management).
- 1+ year of experience working in/selling to restaurants, retailers, or services businesses.
