TL;DR

Business Development Representative: Driving high-quality pipeline growth through inbound and outbound efforts, strategically targeting accounts, qualifying leads, and creating new opportunities with an accent on leveraging modern tools and techniques in a dynamic sales environment. Focus on building strong rapport with prospects, personalized multi-channel outreach, and ensuring data accuracy in CRM.

Location: Flexible in Toronto, Ontario, or Quebec, Canada. Willingness to travel occasionally for events or trade shows (approximately once per quarter).

Salary: $54,600.00–$70,600.00

What you will do

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using modern frameworks (e.g., MEDDPIC) and assess their fit based on business needs.
  • Conduct targeted, personalized multi-channel outreach using intent data and account intelligence (e.g., cold calling, email, LinkedIn).
  • Partner with Account Executives on account planning to identify high-potential opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries to convert them into qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain Salesforce and lead management platforms with precision, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Leverage social media for prospecting, networking, and sharing engaging content to build credibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business development, sales, or related B2B role.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Perfect fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
  • Proactive in uncovering prospect pain points and aligning solutions to needs.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce) and lead management platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with advanced prospecting tools (e.g., 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Experience with social selling and video prospecting.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like BANT or MEDDPIC.
  • Ambition and a clear vision for career advancement within the organization.
