Engineering Manager, Product Engineering (SaaS)

Location: Remote - USA

Base salary: $173,000–$216,500 per year for candidates in NYC, the SF Bay Area, and Seattle; $153,500–$211,200 per year for other U.S. locations. Variable compensation may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of 5–8 engineers across experience levels.
• Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.
• Partner with Product Management and Design to define and deliver the team roadmap.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews and architectural guidance.
• Manage delivery, remove blockers, and support successful execution.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, on-call rotation, and incident response while balancing hands-on technical work with team enablement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of people management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
• Strong technical background with experience providing architectural guidance.
• Experience with agile development, delivery management, remote team management, and async collaboration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience building inclusive, high-performing teams and navigating ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS or marketing platforms.
• Background in payment systems, scheduling, or commerce platforms.
• Experience with Elixir, React, or similar technologies.
• MBA or an advanced related degree.
