What you will do

• Lead and drive projects from idea formulation to design and implementation.
• Drive strong partnership with the product management team.
• Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and deliverables.
• Grow and build a strong, healthy and diverse team through hiring, mentoring and coaching.
• Collaborate with other engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Provide strong technical leadership to the team and partner teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on software development experience, including experience working with large-scale cloud data platforms.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience.
• Background in SQL engines, especially in SQL compilation and/or streaming systems.
• Demonstrated track record of managing operational excellence (service availability, reliability, scalable performance).
• Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, leading and growing technical teams.
• BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
