What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical counterpart in utility and partner-facing meetings.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to clarify project requirements, constraints, and feasibility.
- Validate technical assumptions for proposals and develop detailed Scopes of Work.
- Act as a technical expert for grid impact, dispatch operations, and performance expectations.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure roadmap alignment and smooth delivery.
- Provide technical feedback from market engagements to drive continuous product improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided).
- Strong understanding of demand response, load flexibility, and virtual power plant concepts.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience driving cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and operations.
- Experience working with utilities, grid-edge technologies, or large-scale utility programs.
Nice to have
- Experience working with DERMS (Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems).
- Experience working with utility implementers.
