TL;DR

SMB Account Manager (Fintech): Nurturing relationships and expanding collaboration with Square merchants by providing product education and business advice, with an accent on cross-selling and upselling products and features. Location: Remote within Canada, specifically in Alberta (ideally Calgary or Edmonton) or on the East Coast of Canada (ideally Halifax Nova Scotia or St John's Newfoundland).

Salary: $94,600.00–$142,000.00 CAD

What you will do

  • Grow and retain a multi-million dollar GPV customer base.
  • Understand customer needs to help achieve their business goals through Square.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products and features by discovering customer leads.
  • Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues.
  • Work with Sales, Support, and Product teams to ensure optimal customer experience.
  • Support account management peers by taking on a product specialization.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in Sales/Account Management or a related field.
  • Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Experience successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong interest in business operations and strategy.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.
