Business Development Representative (Proptech)

TL;DR
Business Development Representative (Proptech): Sourcing, reaching out to, and qualifying leads to convert into scheduled product demos for Account Executives with an accent on understanding and applying effective outbound prospecting strategies. Focus on quota attainment, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting demand generation content.
Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, with 2-3 days per week in the office and 2-3 days remote.

What you will do
- Source, reach out to, and qualify leads to convey ’s value proposition.
- Convert qualified leads into scheduled product demos for the Account Executive team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to share and learn from best practices.
- Attain quotas based on qualified leads and activity.
- Support other Business Development Representatives, including building demand generation content monthly.
- Execute additional strategic responsibilities to support key market expansion.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply effective outbound prospecting strategies.
- Confidence in picking up the phone and smoothly conversing with prospects.
- History of resilience, curiosity, optimism, and a solutions-oriented mentality.
- Track record of overachieving against defined metrics.
- Data-oriented approach with an aptitude for large data sets and numbers.
- Desire to win and find motivation in temporary setbacks.
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce and Sales Automation/Engagement platforms.
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems or the vacation rental market.

Hiring process
- Initial conversation with the Recruiting team.
- Interview with the Manager, Business Development.
- Complete an assignment and present to the Manager of Business Development and the Manager of Global Business Development.
- Final interview with the Chief Revenue Officer.
