What you will do
- Lead a distributed team of 7 Strategic Account Managers to achieve positive revenue outcomes.
- Provide 1:1 coaching and performance management to your team members.
- Serve as an escalation point for customer challenges, including in-person meetings.
- Act as an upmarket payments & POS expert and engage with product teams as the customer voice.
- Create operational efficiencies through streamlined repeatable processes.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration on beta programs, co-marketing, and product insights.
Requirements
- 7+ years total experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
- 3+ years experience directly managing metrics-driven customer-facing teams in a high-growth technology company.
- 2+ years experience working within the Payments, POS, Hospotech, or Fintech industry.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and independently develop plans of action for your team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for all audiences, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with product teams to serve as the voice of the customer and manage escalations.
