Business Development Representative (Fintech): Supporting pipeline generation across Singapore by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospects within target customer segments. Focus on outbound prospecting, initiating conversations with senior stakeholders, and developing a deep understanding of enterprise finance and compliance challenges.

What you will do

  • Proactively identify and engage new prospects through outbound channels.
  • Research target accounts and stakeholders to personalize outreach.
  • Qualify prospects against agreed criteria before passing opportunities to the sales team.
  • Book meetings and create sales-qualified opportunities for Account Executives and Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align on target accounts and messaging.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity, lead, and opportunity data in the CRM.

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, outbound sales, or a fast-paced commercial environment, or a strong desire to build a career in B2B sales.
  • Confidence initiating conversations with new contacts, including senior finance and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and questioning skills, with the ability to uncover pain points and assess relevance.
  • A target-driven and resilient mindset, comfortable with high outbound activity volumes.
  • High level of organisation and discipline in managing follow-ups and pipeline hygiene.
  • Fluent English and, either Singaporean Mandarin/Mandarin/Malay/Tamil.
