TL;DR

Director of Finance Transformation (AI): Leading large-scale transformation initiatives within finance and accounting, developing innovative technology solutions to optimize processes and systems with an accent on defining future state system architecture and technical roadmaps. Focus on designing and implementing solutions using data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.

Location: Hybrid in London (UK) or Boston (US). This role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our hubs and work in-person 3 days a week. Relocation support is available to one of our hubs.

What you will do

• Collaborate with senior finance leadership to define transformation goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
• Conduct current state assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with IT, product management, and engineering/data teams to define future state system architecture and technical roadmaps.
• Develop and manage budgets for finance technology initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
• Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies, maintaining SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of accounting operational or related experience in managing the delivery of transformation programs with a proven track record of success.
• Demonstrated experience leading transformative organizational work and managing diverse stakeholders.
• Strong operational capability to oversee project delivery, timelines, and budgets.
• Ability to shift between business-focused conversations with finance leaders and technology-focused conversations with technical teams.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to communicate clearly to all management levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Agile Project and Portfolio Management tools such as Jira.
• Strong passion for designing and implementing solutions using next-generation technology such as data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI.
