What you will do

  • Design and manage a global compensation philosophy, including base salary, equity, and variable incentives.
  • Oversee annual merit, bonus, and equity review processes, partnering with Finance and HR.
  • Maintain scalable job leveling frameworks and career ladders.
  • Lead and grow the global benefits strategy across multiple countries (US, UK, France).
  • Partner with leadership on executive compensation and equity pool modeling.
  • Ensure global compliance with pay transparency acts and GDPR, leading communication strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Compensation & Benefits, with at least 3 years in a high-growth tech startup.
  • Strong analytical mindset for complex equity scenarios and budget impact.
  • Familiarity with international labor markets and benefit nuances outside the US.
  • Ability to distill complex data into a simple narrative for stakeholders.
  • Experience with HR/compensation tools like Pave, Radford, Ashby, and Rippling.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and making high-stakes decisions with “just enough” data.
