Salary: $166,000–$195,000 per year (for candidates in NYC or CO)

What you will do

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define success metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
• Lead the design and development of scalable data structures from internal and third-party sources using SQL and Python.
• Identify areas for improvement and optimization through experimentation and statistical analysis.
• Drive operational efficiency by recommending highly scalable solutions.
• Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders across the organization.
• Mentor and guide mid-level analysts on best practices and design principles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant analytics or data science experience, with 3+ years supporting Product teams.
• Fluency in SQL and a strong background in data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Python or R.
• Ability to manage both long-term strategic projects and urgent ad-hoc requests.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to mentor junior analysts.

Nice to have

• Experience working with event-based data.
• Comfort with at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker) and/or dbt.
• Knowledge of experimentation and/or statistical modeling.
