Salary: $176,000–$264,000 CAD

• Collaborate with product and design to understand business challenges, identify opportunities, and craft team roadmaps.
• Work with your team on designing robust technical solutions.
• Provide comprehensive feedback on code reviews and architecture documents to support technical decision-making.
• Actively participate as a contributor through extensive code reviews or by shipping code.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings to support direct reports in their career growth and development goals.
• Actively participate in hiring to expand the engineering team at hirify.global.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in people leadership within software development, especially with large-scale SaaS products.
• Strong background in hands-on software development.
• Possess a diverse knowledge base to help the team solve complex technical problems.
• Ability to describe successful projects and lessons learned from past experiences.
• Growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, develop, and retain top engineering talent.

Nice to have

• A defined philosophy on what constitutes great software development teams.
• Experience with CRM products at scale.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or Python.
