What you will do

• Lead and scale multiple high-performing platform engineering teams, including Engineering Managers and Staff+ engineers (8-12+ individuals).
• Build the Platform AI Foundations team from scratch, defining its mission, strategy, and roadmap.
• Scale the Delivery Platform team, evolving deployment infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and progressive delivery capabilities.
• Define and execute platform engineering strategy, partnering with senior leadership to set technical vision and roadmap.
• Drive operational excellence, delivery at scale, and data-driven decision making.
• Influence engineering culture, standards, and build strategic partnerships across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with deep expertise in platform engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing other Engineering Managers or senior technical leaders.
• Exceptional people leadership skills for developing careers and building inclusive teams.
• Strategic thinking to define technical vision and ensure effective execution.
• Deep platform engineering expertise in modern deployment technologies (Kubernetes, GitOps, progressive delivery) and CI/CD infrastructure.
• Curiosity about AI technologies and a platform mindset for treating internal platforms as products.
• Proven ability to build teams from scratch, defining mission and recruiting talent.
• Operational excellence and data-driven decision making.
• Strong influence and communication skills to build relationships and drive alignment.
