What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Migration Specialists, providing regular feedback and career growth support.
- Own the end-to-end data migration experience for new customers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality onboarding.
- Establish and refine migration processes, documentation, and best practices to support scale and consistency.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve migration challenges and improve tooling.
- Monitor team capacity, migration timelines, and success metrics to meet SLAs and customer expectations.
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk migrations and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of people leadership experience managing or leading a team.
- 5+ years of experience in data migration, customer onboarding, implementation, or a related SaaS function.
- Strong understanding of data structures, system integrations, and migration workflows.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Nice to have
- Experience scaling migration or onboarding teams at a high-growth SaaS company.
- Familiarity with accounting software, practice management tools, or financial data.
- Experience partnering closely with Product or Engineering teams on migration tooling or automation.
