TL;DR

Advertising Client Director (Adtech): Driving revenue and customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform with an accent on C-level executive engagement and sales strategy execution for Display, Native, CTV, and Gaming solutions. Focus on developing quality customer plans, optimizing opportunities, and ensuring client success across MSA’s media and Adtech solutions.

Location: Austin, United States. Starting January 26, 2026, employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $107,600 – $187,500 per year

What you will do

  • Sell Microsoft’s media and buy-side technology products, driving outcomes through various transaction types.
  • Develop, lead, and execute MSA sales strategy and priorities to enable client growth.
  • Influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through relationship building and compelling storytelling.
  • Lead Sales planning with the Account v-team, achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets.
  • Expand the client’s view of the importance of MSA products, ensuring both parties feel they are winning in negotiations.
  • Lead pipeline updates, identifying roadblocks, and ensuring resources are engaged to overcome client objections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising; OR Master’s Degree AND 5+ years of experience; OR 9+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service.
  • Experience making recommendations to mid- to senior-level executives is preferred.
  • Experience in programmatic and direct media sales is preferred.
