What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering squad, focusing on team health, engagement, and inclusion.
• Own technical and delivery outcomes, guiding decisions in Go, Java, and Python environments.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and on-call readiness.
• Partner with Product to translate goals into actionable engineering work and prioritize features.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and contribute to recruiting efforts within the domain.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work with presence in Berlin campus 2 days a week
• Proven architectural excellence and strong leadership experience.
• Experience mentoring engineers and fostering an inclusive team environment.
• Technical ownership with backend technologies: Go, Java, Python.
• Strong delivery and operational maturity including incident management and monitoring.
• English proficiency at least B2 level (job posting in English)
