Location: This role requires being on-site at the Berlin office for at least 80% of weekly working hours. Visa sponsorship is provided for joining from outside of Germany, and candidates planning to relocate to Berlin are welcome.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a diverse hybrid team of software engineers.
• Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the Reach Ads product, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle for Reach Ads, from planning to deployment.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to build scalable solutions using Java, Python, and AWS.
• Ensure system availability, stability, quality of service, and security standards are met.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and transparent communication within the team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering and a strong background in team leadership.
• Proficiency in Java and a good understanding of software architecture.
• Experience or willingness to work with a distributed team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Agile mindset and experience with modern development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and technologies.
• Must be able to work on-site at the Berlin office for at least 80% of weekly working hours.
• Ability to obtain legal work authorization in Germany.
