The Role
Sumsub is looking for an HR Operations Specialist (Payroll) to support and scale global payroll and HR operations across multiple countries.

This is not a payroll calculation role — it’s about ownership of payroll inputs, coordination with providers, operational rigor, and ensuring accuracy across systems in a fast-growing, international environment.

What You’ll Do

Payroll Operations
— Collect, validate, and consolidate payroll inputs (bonuses, commissions, deductions, variable payments)
— Ensure payroll data accuracy in HRIS before payroll close
— Coordinate with external payroll providers across multiple countries
— Review payroll outputs and identify discrepancies
— Upload payroll documentation into HRIS systems
— Support employees with payroll-related queries

Time Management
— Support setup and implementation of a time tracking system
— Validate PTO entries and attendance records
— Prevent policy breaches (e.g., overspending PTO)
— Follow up on discrepancies and missing approvals
— Improve attendance and time-off workflows

Compensation & Benefits Support
— Assist with benefits administration (enrollments, changes, terminations)
— Support compensation data handling and benchmarking research
— Answer employee questions regarding comp & benefits

About You
— Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field
— 2–3+ years in HR Operations / Payroll
— Experience with multi-country payroll and external providers
— Comfortable working with HRIS and payroll systems
— Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently
— High attention to detail and accuracy

Key Skills
— Solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processes
— Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, reconciliations, data checks)
— Strong communication skills
— Process-oriented and improvement-focused mindset
— Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
