Financial Accountant (ESG)

What you will do

• Independently record and process all ongoing business transactions, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger.
• Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for hirify.global entities in Germany and abroad.
• Take full financial responsibility for selected hirify.global entities, including audit support and reporting.
• Execute and monitor group-wide payment transactions.
• Clarify accounting principles and handle complex business transactions in cooperation with tax advisors and auditors.
• Participate in special projects such as ERP system implementation, internationalization, or M&A processes.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk or certified accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting.
• Several years of professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in accounting, with strong experience in annual financial statement audits and accounting-related projects.
• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and tax law.
• Ability to work within complex IT system landscapes and further develop them.
• Confident user of Excel, DATEV, and CRM systems.
• Fluent German (C2) and very good English skills (B2), both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP (including SOX).
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite.
