Software Engineer

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Backend): Building and enhancing the Records solution for customers to capture, structure, query, and visualize data across their automation workflows with an accent on data management capabilities and providing analytics. Focus on scaling the Records feature to support processing massive quantities of customer data, and creating new types of Dashboards.

Location: You can work fully remotely from anywhere in Ireland or make use of our hirify.global office space in Dublin.

What you will do

• Drive impactful changes in our codebase and see them live in production minutes after merging them.
• Work closely with colleagues in design and product functions to create and evolve our product.
• Write and review high-quality, well-tested code to ensure that we’re creating a stable product for our customers.
• Identify areas for improvement, both in our codebase and in how we work, and share the responsibility of making our team better.
• Take full ownership of the problems you solve and the software you write to solve them.
• Use your knowledge to mentor other engineers across the organization, providing support and guidance to help them grow their abilities.

Requirements

• 6+ years as a professional software engineer with a proven track record of success.
• Direct experience of building and delivering software using a high-level programming language.
• Comfortable working at the level of technical complexity required for adding features to a small command-line app.
• Curiosity and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to pitch in anywhere when needed, with the support of your teammates.
