What you will do

• Develop, refactor, and innovate code for an award-winning marketing platform.
• Design and build distributed systems using streaming and queuing solutions such as Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS.
• Implement new features and re-engineer existing applications in collaboration with Product Managers.
• Contribute to the entire software lifecycle, including code reviews, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, UX Designers, and Agile Coaches.
• Mentor junior colleagues to improve their technical skills and codebase awareness.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Proven track record with OOP, RESTful APIs, Microservices, and relational databases.
• Cloud-first development experience with AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Docker).
• Experience with streaming and queuing solutions (ideally Kafka, Kinesis, or SQS).
• Strong knowledge of Git and Agile processes, with exposure to TDD or BDD practices.

Nice to have

• Ability to work with modern Angular frontend code.
• Experience with non-relational databases like MongoDB.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Background in working on subscription or high-volume transactional systems.
• Experience in application monitoring.
