What you will do

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from discovery to deployment.
• Develop and enhance robust new features, APIs, and continuously improve core products.
• Optimize systems for large transaction volumes, handling concurrency, idempotency, and performance under load.
• Ensure a top-tier, customer-centric experience through high-quality engineering.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript best practices.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, including query optimization, data migrations, and database modeling.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Experience designing systems for scalability and high-volume performance.
• Must be based in LATAM (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Paraguay, Perú, or Uruguay)

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS products running on major cloud vendors.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture on AWS.
• Knowledge of the Fintech industry and its unique challenges.
