TL;DR
Director, Global Customer Marketing (SaaS): Leads strategy and execution of customer expansion initiatives across North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, driving upsell, cross-sell, and adoption programs with an accent on maximizing customer lifetime value and strengthening retention. Location: Remote within the USA, residing in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, ME, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA. Cannot be hired within the city limits of Chicago. Preference given to candidates based in Austin, TX or those willing to relocate unassisted to Austin and work in-office 2 days per week. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Salary: $150,000 to $180,000 per year

What you will do
- Design, lead, and scale global strategies with measurable goals for cross-sell, upsell, and retention.
- Build and lead a global team, coaching regional leaders to execute programs that drive customer growth.
- Drive alignment and coordination with Customer Success, Advocacy, Sales, Product, and Community teams.
- Lead customer research initiatives and define/report on expansion pipeline, retention, and product adoption.
- Build a global customer lifecycle framework from onboarding through expansion, renewal, and advocacy.
- Lead customer participation in events and support regional teams in delivering localized experiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B SaaS customer marketing experience with a proven record driving upsell, cross-sell, retention, and global expansion.
- Expertise in customer lifecycle management and retention programs across multiple regions.
- Advanced analytical skills with hands-on experience using CRM, marketing automation, product analytics, and BI platforms (Salesforce, Pardot, Tableau, Power BI, 6sense, Pendo).
- Leadership experience building and managing teams while influencing across Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Advocacy.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage customers, collaborate across functions, and present effectively to executives.
- Industry experience in IT, MSP, cybersecurity, or endpoint management required.
- Must be located in the USA, residing in one of the specified states.
