Salary: $123,400–$223,100 (USD) including target variable compensation, depending on location zone within the US.

What you will do

  • Lead market engagement through disciplined, in-person execution, conducting 50-60 targeted business visits weekly.
  • Run a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion including lead generation, needs identification, compelling demos, and deal closure.
  • Establish yourself as a Square expert by building strong, trust-based relationships and ensuring seamless onboarding for new sellers.
  • Build a high-velocity pipeline from the ground up through door-to-door outreach, community engagement, and targeted partnerships.
  • Master key verticals like restaurants, retail, and services to position appropriate Square solutions consultatively.
  • Maintain strong operational rigor in Salesforce, track activity, manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and consistently exceed quota.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and close complex deals.
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business development experience (e.g., hunting and cold calling).
  • Reliable transportation and ability to live in the US market you are serving are essential.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of payment processing or related technology experience (payroll, loyalty, time management).
  • 1+ years of relevant audience experience (selling to restaurants, retailers, or service-based businesses).
