TL;DR

Senior Supervisor Commerce Sales (Fintech): Leading and developing a frontline sales organization focused on driving merchant acquisition and customer value, with an accent on building performance systems, optimizing lead flow, and executing strategic initiatives. Focus on data-driven decision making, talent development, and achieving aggressive growth goals within a commerce sales context.

Location: This is an in-office position in Tempe, Arizona, United States. Candidates must live within commuting distance from the assigned office. Not eligible to be performed in Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, the Virgin Islands, Washington, or the metro cities of Austin, TX and Washington D.C.

Salary: $75,500.00 – $113,500.00 (base pay for Group 4, plus monthly commission and equity stock grant)

What you will do

  • Lead and develop frontline sales supervisors and sellers for merchant acquisition.
  • Build performance systems anchored in accountability, coaching, and data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to optimize lead flow and customer value.
  • Monitor and manage critical KPIs including win rate, speed to first payment, and call effectiveness.
  • Execute strategic initiatives to improve funnel conversion and seller productivity.
  • Recruit, onboard, and grow top-tier sales talent to support a rapidly scaling commerce organization.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven high performance and leadership experience at a SaaS, fintech, payments, or merchant services organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading inbound or outbound sales teams with strong results in conversion rate and productivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical acumen with experience interpreting sales metrics, forecasting, and using CRM data.
  • Ability to work on site and lead in person.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and people development skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling sales teams in a high growth environment.
  • Familiarity with payments ecosystems, merchant acquisition flows, and card present/card not present products.
  • Experience partnering with Sales Operations on comp, reporting, and process design.
  • Background with AI-enabled sales tools or automation platforms.
