What you will do
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical plans, metrics, and experiment designs.
- Query and analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends and provide actionable recommendations for product teams.
- Build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards and recurring reports tracking key product KPIs.
- Contribute to goal setting and forecasting for key product initiatives, modeling expected impact on growth and engagement.
- Validate data quality and consistency for your product domains by collaborating with data engineering.
- Communicate complex insights through clear narratives, visualizations, and presentations to influence product direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or Master's degree in a related quantitative field.
- Solid analytical foundation with experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and business intelligence/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
- Hands-on experience with DBT for building and maintaining production-grade analytical models.
- Experience applying analytical and statistical techniques (e.g., descriptive analytics, cohort analysis, A/B testing).
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills to translate ambiguous questions into insights.
