Location: Hybrid role based in Serbia (Belgrade) with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite requirement.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of senior engineers.
• Own critical areas of the hirify.global Prism Infrastructure platform and drive its long-term technical direction.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent within your team and across hirify.global.
• Drive architecture and design discussions, review code deeply, and influence key technical decisions.
• Collaborate closely with multiple engineering teams and stakeholders across geographies.
• Provide operational leadership for large-scale, production systems with a strong focus on reliability, scale, performance, and security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including senior engineers.
• 9+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Golang, Python, or Java, as well as Linux systems and concurrency concepts.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, async APIs, code generation, SDKs, and API lifecycle management.
• Experience building and operating Kubernetes-based platforms, including application deployment using Helm and disaster recovery strategies.
• Solid conceptual understanding of distributed systems, NoSQL databases, and large-scale system design.
