What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team building agent-based systems, workflow orchestration, and AI-powered nodes.
• Foster experimentation and systems thinking for reliable agentic workflows with LLMs, tools, and APIs.
• Guide agent architecture decisions like single vs multi-agent, memory strategies, and human-in-the-loop design.
• Partner with Product and Design to ship intuitive agent-powered workflow experiences.
• Establish best practices for workflow reliability, retries, observability, and debuggability.
• Mentor on LLM integrations, execution engines, and safety guardrails in agent systems.

Requirements

• First-line engineering management experience delivering automation platforms, workflow systems, or AI features.
• Significant experience with Evaluations and driving results via evals.
• Strong people leadership in ambiguous, fast-evolving technical spaces.
• Strong software engineering background in distributed systems, APIs, and system design.
• Hands-on capability in workflow logic, integrations, or AI system behavior.
• Cross-functional experience with Product and Design; high-growth SaaS scaling.
• AI/agent exposure with LLMs, agents, or automation systems.

Nice to have

• hirify.global or similar workflow tooling familiarity.
• Integration-heavy or API-driven platforms experience.
• Deep agent work with frameworks, tool use, or multi-step reasoning.
• Observability and debugging tools for workflows or AI systems.
