Engineering Manager (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Lead a team in developing performance testing frameworks and utilities to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks in software and infrastructure.
• Build system testing strategies, tools, and infrastructure to test the resilience of the hirify.global platform.
• Implement custom automated performance evaluation tooling within the CI/CD lifecycle.
• Conduct system performance analysis and provide optimization recommendations for cloud and container environments.
• Participate in architectural design reviews to integrate performance considerations into new features.

Requirements

• Experience in a Manager or Technical Lead role.
• 5+ years of experience with performance automation tools such as Locust, Jmeter, or K6.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Golang, or Java focused on performance tooling.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to use profiling tools to identify performance issues.
• Knowledge of Observability and Monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

Nice to have

• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in managing large-scale distributed systems and understanding of network protocols and security.
• Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems.
