TL;DR

Account Executive (Agrifood): Driving buyer acquisition and activation for a global digital marketplace with an accent on converting inbound demand and executing targeted outbound outreach. Focus on qualifying leads, running tailored demos, facilitating transactions, and managing the sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets.

Location: Fully Remote with availability to travel once every 2-3 months to offices in Seville and/or Athens. Primary remote locations for hiring are the UK and Spain.

Salary: £32,000–£48,200 (UK), €27,000–€39,000 (Spain)

What you will do

  • Convert inbound demand and engage warm/semi-warm leads into active buyers on the platform.
  • Qualify leads, run tailored live demos, and guide buyers through the onboarding and first transaction process.
  • Execute targeted outbound outreach via cold calls, LinkedIn, and email sequences to build a pipeline of qualified accounts.
  • Collaborate with Supply Managers to match buyer demand with qualified suppliers and facilitate deal closing.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in HubSpot CRM, track KPIs, and provide regular updates and forecasts.
  • Collect buyer feedback and document learnings to contribute to shared playbooks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a B2B sales role (Account Executive, SDR, BDR, or similar).
  • Experience in complex sectors such as agrifood, industrials, commodities, logistics, or marketplaces.
  • Proven experience handling digital sales cycles, including inbound leads, qualification calls, online demos, and onboarding.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a high-volume environment.
  • Hands-on outbound prospecting experience and strong qualification skills.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Full professional fluency in English and French is required.

  • Fluency in Dutch.
