TL;DR

Director of Talent Acquisition (R&D): Leading and scaling a global technical talent acquisition function with an accent on strategic stakeholder management, team development, and data-driven operational excellence. Focus on designing global TA strategies, influencing workforce planning, and building a world-class R&D recruiting team.

Location: Hybrid work environment, with expectation for local hirify.globalns in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, and Sydney to be in office minimum twice per week. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region.

Salary: CAD $160,000–$240,000

What you will do

  • Partner with senior leadership to design and scale a global Talent Acquisition function for ambitious multi-year growth targets.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the CTO, CPO, and VPs, influencing workforce planning, organizational design, and headcount allocation.
  • Attract, engage, and retain a world-class team of TA Team Managers, Leads, Specialists, and Sourcers.
  • Own the TA data narrative, evolving reporting from retrospective metrics to predictive analytics.
  • Research and operationalize continuous improvements to the global hiring lifecycle, ensuring processes remain frictionless and scalable.
  • Define and execute hirify.global’s technical employer brand strategy to ensure we are the "employer of choice" for top-tier Engineering and Product talent globally.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role managing and developing multi-layered technical recruiting teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience navigating the scaling of technical teams through periods of organizational change and global expansion.
  • Mastery of TA metrics and the ability to translate complex data into actionable executive-level insights.
  • Ability to influence and build rapport with C-Suite stakeholders and highly opinionated technical leaders.
  • A track record of moving beyond execution to act as a true consultant on compensation philosophy, location strategy, and talent trends.
