What you will do
- Learn and use advanced AI models to build platforms for financial systems.
- Design, build, and maintain backend services that support trading, market data, clearing, or brokerage infrastructure at scale.
- Write production-quality code with a focus on reliability, performance, and clear operational behavior in distributed systems.
- Partner with engineers across infrastructure and product teams to deliver stable platforms and well-defined APIs.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and on-call rotations to help keep critical systems healthy and resilient.
- Improve existing systems by addressing performance bottlenecks, scaling constraints, and operational risks.
Requirements
- Power user of frontier LLM models and passionate about leveraging AI to build everything at scale.
- Professional experience building and operating backend systems using Go, Java, Kotlin, or similar.
- Comfortable working with distributed real-time and data processing systems, data pipelines, and service-oriented architectures in production environments.
- Approach problems methodically, balancing correctness, performance, and maintainability.
- Communicate clearly in technical discussions and value thoughtful design and peer feedback.
- Motivated by working on systems where reliability and data accuracy directly affect customer trust.
