Location: While many roles at hirify.global are remote-first, in-person participation is required throughout the year for team and company-wide offsites. This role is for candidates based in the US due to US-specific benefits and legal requirements.

Salary: $186,065–$218,900 USD

What you will do

• Build and run experiments to power the growth of hirify.global’s retail products.
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems and the teams running them.
• Work with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
• Proficiency in composing a service-oriented architecture.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Passion for building an open financial system that brings the world together.

Nice to have

• Experience launching new products from 0 to 1.
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum).
• Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Background in fintech, highly reliable, and/or secure systems.
• Crypto-forward experience, including onchain activity, ENS, and dApps.
