TL;DR
Regional Account Executive (Public Sector): Driving full-cycle software sales for a safety technology platform with an accent on demand generation, partnerships, and closing deals in a defined territory. Location: This is a 100% remote field sales opportunity but requires candidates to be based locally in the Chicago or Atlanta territory for regional travel (up to 50% during peak seasons).
Salary: Starting OTE of $250,000 (uncapped commissions), with a base salary starting from $125,000.

What you will do
- Own demand generation, partnerships, and full-cycle software sales in a single market.
- Drive pipeline through outbound activities, referrals, and territory development.
- Become a subject matter expert for technical products.
- Close new deals and meet opportunity targets.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and engage in cross-functional team check-ins.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of full-cycle sales experience, with an emphasis on outside/field software sales.
- Self-starter mentality with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Experience using outbound sales strategies to develop new business.
- Ability to quickly digest and learn technical products.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Must live local to the Chicago or Atlanta territory.

Hiring process
- First 30 days: Learn the market, understand customers, pass Demo Certification.
- First 60 days: Build territory, drive pipeline, join CSM calls, create opportunities, close first deal.
- 90 days & Beyond: Maintain forecasting, meet with current customers and new logos, close deals.
- Requires ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certification.
