What you will do

• Architect, develop, and maintain sophisticated full-stack features using TypeScript, React/Next.js, Python, FastAPI, and Kubernetes.
• Interface directly with researchers and domain experts to translate high-level research objectives into technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects, internal tools, and cross-functional aspects like infrastructure or security.
• Manage the deployment and evolution of applications within the self-managed Kubernetes cluster, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in thoughtful code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, and raise the bar for engineering excellence.
• Contribute to the team's technical direction by proposing new approaches, conducting experiments, and integrating cutting-edge developer tools (including AI-assisted coding technologies).

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex, production-grade features.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with a comprehensive understanding of the entire development stack, clean abstractions, robust data modeling, and sound architectural decisions.
• High agency and collaborative ownership, prioritizing collective success and transparent communication while driving projects forward.
• Adaptability and focus within a shifting landscape where research priorities evolve rapidly, balancing robust engineering with speed and flexibility.
